An intimate relationship with our Creator (God/Jesus/Holy Spirit) is the most important thing we are to pursue in this life. “For in Him we live and move and have our being;” (Acts 17:28). We are to “Keep our heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” (Prov. 4:23).

If, in Him, we live and move and have our being and we are to keep our hearts with all diligence, how are we to go about this? The answer lies in our quest to continually pursue Him. Just as you would pursue a spouse by spending time with them. Being attentive to them, listening to them, sitting in their presence without even having to saying a word – your hearts are united as one.

It is my conviction that we are to till up the soil of our heart so that the seed of the Word of God can take deep root in us. It is watered, regularly weeded and pruned so that we bear much fruit. Jesus said, “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)

My desire for this website blog is to give hope, encouragement, strength and to impart understanding and wisdom through writing. I hope you will be blessed.
